John Clark is a curative teacher, musician and music therapist living and working in community in Ireland. He is a co-founder of the former Camphill Community at Ballytobin, Kilkenny, and is a multi-instrumentalist having played lyre for more than 50 years. He completed a 3 year Curative Education Seminar in Camphill in England, the USA and Scotland and a 3 year Music Therapy training under C-A Lindenberg and U. Schroeder.
His article on the history and development of the modern Lyre is in the 29 volume The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians. He is cited as co-author of the article on Anthroposophical Music Therapy in The Oxford Handbook of Music Therapy.
Besides his arrangements of traditional music has composed numerous seasonal songs and rounds.
